Front-end Engineering design (FEED) encompasses project conceptual plant design, establishing plant technical requirements, process flow diagram, P&IDs, Electrical & Instrumentation diagrams, civil & structural layouts, piping & mechanical layouts, RFQs, BOQ, cost estimates, risk mitigation, project timeline. The FEED package is used as the basis for bidding for EPC contracts and is used as the design basis.
